ConsultCare Partners LLC helps hospitals, coders, and physicians understand the coding/clinical relationship and to combine those forces to accurately reflect patient populations. We do this to make certain they are paid correctly for the care they deliver.

ConsultCare Partners' priorities are: Care, Compliance and Profitability – in that order. Our recommendations never “bend” the rules. They are clinically appropriate and meet all payer guidelines.

We consult with hospitals, and provide data driven information products and reports to assist in delivering proper patient care within Medicare compliance regulations, mindful that this care can only be delivered if the hospital has a healthy financial standing.

Leadership

Leatrice Ford, founder of ConsultCare Partners, is a registered nurse with a cardiovascular background. She has worked with various healthcare consulting companies and frequently used clinical and financial data for their projects. She quickly realized decisions were being made on "faulty" information. Patients were not always grouped to the correct DRG and yet that data was being used to change physicians behaviors She also felt that information conveyed to payors - such as Medicare - was so flawed it had skewed payment nationally. This led to the formation of ConsultCare Partners.

Leatrice is a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) and speaks and writes nationally on cardiac coding and care.
